Sandy Adams, Treasurer

"When I graduated from Franklin & Marshall College in 1975, I went directly into self-employment as a public accountant," says Adams. "Many of my clients were new businesses or companies in trouble. They were the kind of people I was born to understand, because I grew up in a family of entrepreneurs. My parents, grandparents, brothers, uncles and cousins have been successfully self-employed. They are powerful role models. Now after thirty years, I'm considered a war-horse of sorts. I've seen a lot!"

Every organization needs an inner circle of advisors. The inner circle usually includes an attorney and a public accountant. "As an advisor, my first priority is to understand and capture the excitement of the organization's dream," says Adams. "The second step is empowering the

organization's sense of control over their tax, accounting and financial issues. I look forward to bringing my years of accounting and business experience to my position as Treasurer of GRA/America."

"I have been a member of GRA/America since 2003. As a racing greyhound owner, I look forward to working closer with GRA/America to advance our organization."
